Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all work carried out by Soleil Ink Studios (“we”, “us”, or “our”) for clients (“you”, “the client”). By commissioning work, you agree to these terms.

1. Services

We provide the following services:

  • Website design and website updates

  • Print and marketing design

  • Monthly ongoing design and website support

The exact scope of work will be agreed in writing before any project begins.

2. Quotes & Acceptance

All quotes are provided based on the information supplied at the time of enquiry.

A project is considered accepted once:

  • You confirm acceptance in writing (email is sufficient), and

  • Any required deposit has been paid.

3. Payment Terms

A 30% deposit is required before work begins, unless otherwise agreed.

  • The remaining balance is due before final files, website launch, or handover.

  • All prices are in GBP (£).

  • Invoices must be paid within 7 days, unless stated otherwise.

Late payments may result in delays to delivery.

4. Revisions

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • Projects include up to 3 rounds of revisions.

  • Revisions are defined as reasonable changes to the original brief.

Additional revisions or changes outside the agreed scope may be charged separately.

5. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide all required content (text, images, prices, information) before work begins

  • Ensure content supplied is accurate and lawful

  • Respond to feedback requests in a timely manner

Delays in providing content or feedback may affect project timelines.

6. Design Approval

It is your responsibility to review and approve designs before final delivery.

Once final approval is given:

  • We are not responsible for errors in content (e.g. spelling, prices, contact details).

7. Ownership & Legal Rights

Ownership of final designs transfers to you once full payment has been received.

  • We retain the right to display completed work in our portfolio, website, and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed.

Draft concepts and unused designs remain our property.

8. Websites

For website projects:

  • Websites are built using user-friendly platforms to allow client updates.

  • We are not responsible for third-party services, hosting issues, or platform changes beyond our control.

  • Ongoing updates or maintenance are not included unless part of a monthly support agreement.

9. Monthly Ongoing Support

Monthly support services:

  • Are billed on a rolling monthly basis

  • Can be cancelled with 30 days’ written notice

  • Do not include large redesigns or new website builds unless agreed separately

Unused time or tasks do not roll over unless stated.

10. Cancellations & Refunds

Deposits are non-refundable once work has started.

  • If a project is cancelled by the client, payment is required for work completed up to that point.

  • If we are unable to complete a project for any reason, any unused portion of fees will be refunded.

11. Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Loss of profits, business interruption, or indirect losses

  • Issues caused by third-party platforms, hosting providers, printers, or software

Our liability is limited to the total value of the project fee paid.

12. Confidentiality

Any confidential information shared during a project will be treated as private and not disclosed to third parties, unless required by law.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
